Why Lionea
Well-made tools to save time
My name is Antonin. I started Lionea for a simple reason: in a lot of small companies, hours go every week into tasks that a well-designed tool could do for them.
Copying an order into a spreadsheet, chasing a quote by hand, looking for the right version of a document: none of these tasks is hard. Added up, they take the place of the real work. My job is to spot them, then build the simplest tool that makes them go away.
I would rather build a modest tool you use every day than an ambitious project that ends up in a drawer.

- At 15
My own sportswear brand
I played field hockey at a fairly high level, and I launched my own sportswear brand. That is where I discovered e‑commerce and everything that keeps an online store running.
- Next
A sports consulting agency
I tried to launch a sports consulting agency. I kept learning to sell, to deliver and to keep a commitment.
- Alongside
Web design
I built a lot of websites, for people around me and for businesses I pitched myself. Design is still where every project starts for me.
- University
Concordia, in Montreal
I enrolled at Concordia University mostly for security, and to reassure my parents. I quickly realised it was not for me.
- Training
MIT
I chose to train in artificial intelligence instead, with the “No Code and Agentic AI” certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
- Agencies
The trade, from the inside
I have worked in agencies, with real clients and real deadlines.
- Today
Lionea
I bring all of this together in a small agency: one person who designs and codes, from the first call to launch.
How I work
On my own, directly, in writing
I work alone. When you write to Lionea, I am the one who answers, designs and codes. There is no salesperson who promises things and then a team that discovers the project afterwards.
I set the price before work starts, show you a working version every two weeks, and put every decision in writing. You always know where your project stands without having to ask.
At the end, I hand everything over. The code is yours once the invoice is paid: source code, access, files and documentation. I write that documentation for the person who will use the tool, and a separate technical note for a future developer. Maintenance runs as a 6-month monthly plan, extendable if needed, and the first month is free. During the plan, every defect found, one or several, is fixed. At the end of the 6 months, you decide whether to extend it. In most cases I also keep an access to make maintenance easier. If you'd rather I didn't, just tell me.
I work remotely, in English or French, with teams in different time zones.
What I refuse
What I won't do for you
What a provider refuses to do often tells you more than the list of what they offer.
- During the audit
Sell AI where it doesn't help
Many problems are solved with a simple rule or a well-made form. If an AI agent adds nothing in your case, I tell you, even if the project gets smaller.
- At delivery
Lock you in
No code you can't get back, no accounts in my name, no mandatory subscription. You should be able to leave with everything the day you decide to.
- Before the quote
Promise numbers I can't keep
I won't announce a percentage gain before I have looked at how you work. That is what the audit is for.
- During the project
Add features without your approval
Nothing is added to your invoice without written approval before the work is done. The price on the quote is the price you pay.
